Dear Prospective Exercise Specialist,

First of all, thanks for taking the time to visit this site! It’s our intention with this letter to attract exactly the right person we are looking for – and that may be you – so we can fill this fun and rewarding position and take this page down immediately. So, let me tell you a little about our company and the job.

My name is Jeff Tomaszewski, and I am the President of an organization called MaxStrength Fitness. We opened our first facility in Westlake, Ohio in May of 2007 and our second facility in Willoughby, Ohio in May of 2017 and we have been transforming lives for our clients ever since!
We are continually growing and always looking for the next great personal trainer to join our TEAM!

MaxStrength Fitness is a private one-on-one personal training facility providing strength training and nutritional consulting, serving hundreds of exclusive clients throughout the greater Cleveland area.

MaxStrength Fitness is a one-on-one, clinically controlled exercise environment, devoid of the typical gym distractions, which provides high-intensity low force resistance training, nutritional consulting as well as Post-rehabilitation training. We know that our biggest assets are our Team, our systems and our knowledge. We’re in business to help out clients cut through the noise in the fitness industry and help them achieve optimal health.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organized, passionate, personable, motivated, and hard working individual to join our Team of elite Exercise Specialists and help transform our client's health and fitness in only two-twenty minute sessions a week. 

Hours currently needed: Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays 7 am-12:30 pm, & 3-6:30pm and Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 7 am-12:30 pm. (Our trainers typically only work 1-2 Saturdays per month in a rotation). 


Tasks I Need You To Perform

*Retain your clients
*Greet clients upon arrival
*Review client charts
*Discuss activities since last workout
*Review upcoming workout Instruct client through workout
*Schedule client for next workout
*Progress training chart
*Review charts with supervisor
*Maintain upkeep of equipment and facility
*Assist in front office tasks
*Assist in marketing and promotion of the business

Qualifications

*College/Associate's degree preferred but not mandatory.
*Excellent verbal communications skills.
*Excellent listening skills.
*Adept at adjusting to people’s moods and personalities.
*Must have the emotional stamina to be “at your best” with each client.

*A “Stewardship Mentality”: You will be helping nurture the growth of our clientele. Understanding those people and making sure they are satisfied begins with being empathic to their needs. We’ll teach you the basics of what to say and do, but we can’t teach you how to have a great attitude and a strong desire to help people. This is where you will OWN our core value of OVER DELIVER!

*Desire to learn and grow: We’re very serious about this! We want a person who is motivated to get better every day and who isn’t shy about suggesting ideas on how we can improve the business. We do not want a robot that simply follows a checklist. We want someone who learns and grows with our company. However, we do follow a protocol with regard to our training systems. These are systems that are tried and proven and deliver results to our clients in a fraction of the time they would spend with traditional training. Therefore, you must learn our protocol and implement it. If you get bored by learning and mastering techniques then please DO NOT apply!

* Organized and Attentive to Detail: This is a must! You will need to be attentive to even the smallest of details to ensure we’re meeting our quality standards.

*You don't LOVE helping people transform their lives through health and fitness (We are LIFE TRANSFORMERS and take tremendous pride in helping our clients transform their lives)

*You are a lone wolf and prefer to work alone (We are a TEAM and help each other out when the unexpected happens)

*You want to exclusively train athletes (We primarily train busy, affluent, high-performers who truly value their health and fitness)

*You prefer "functional training" (We utilize a high-intensity, low force protocol that is proven to get results in only twenty minutes twice a week)

*You like to wear a sweat suit to train clients in (We are professional so we dress like it-shirt and tie for guys and blouse/business attire for gals)

*You don't want to be part of greater Cleveland's most exclusive personal training facility (We have a reputation of being professional, caring, attention to detail and a bit obsessive about getting results)

*You don't like to learn and master your craft (We take great pride in continuing to ask the question: "How can be more efficient and effective in our training while ensuring safety at all times?")

*You are not open minded (We will ask you to take most of what you have been lead to believe in the fitness industry and reevaluate it. We do the OPPOSITE of traditional training and you will be entrenched in our training philosophy and business systems)

*You don't value personal responsibility and accountability ( This is one of our Core Values and we live by it and we will ask you to as well)

*You don't like to go above and beyond and WOW clients by over delivering (OVER DELIVER is another one of our Core Values and we LOVE to surprise our clients by delivering a service and expertise they would never expect from a personal training facility or any other business for that matter!)
